Why I Wrote This Play:
I wrote this play because I wanted to make lemonade out of lemons. Something really bad happened to me and I lost my sense of self. Not only that, but I suffered from serious mental illnesses that required clinical treatment.
Writing this play was an opportunity for the real Diana Brown to come back to life. Because if I didn't bounce back from this, then the bad guys win. The minute you take control of your own mind and actions, you are unbeatable.
I'm not here to try and exit people from cults. I'm here to entertain you with comedy. I have no intentions of "taking down" any cults. Cults are their own worst enemy, they contribute to their own demise everyday. The more people there are in the world thinking critically and thinking for themselves, the less cults there will be.
Cults don't want you to have your own thoughts and desires. And yet, here I am, having my own thoughts and fulfilling my own desires. Success is the best revenge. And it's so amazing.
